The Virginia Mason Medical Center has a pretty great Cancer Institute. But not a lot of people know about it. We created awareness in a number of breakthrough ways.
A water soluble billboard that took over a month of testing inks, paints, and substrates to perfect. Then the Seattle rains came through for us—washing away CANCER.
A graffiti billboard that over a few weeks was covered in colorful graffiti. Each graffiti tag was the name of a Cancer Institute doctor.
An ice sculpture that melted CANCER over a single day. It was a powerful message for those affected by the disease who came across the sculpture.
And an Erase Cancer event that brought together doctors, caregivers and patients to share their stories.
