Work Experience

May 2018 to Present
I’m currently taking on freelance and direct client work for art direction, graphic design and branding projects.

2013 to May 2018
Most recently I've been a Creative Director at Wexley School for Girls. A hands-on CD and Art Director on accounts including Darigold, PCC Community Markets, Sounders FC, Virginia Mason, Sparkling Ice, Amazon, Starbucks, Pike Place Market, and a few others I can't think of right now. I've been very lucky to get to work with a talented bunch of awesome people (photo above).

2012 to 2013
Creative Director at DNA in Seattle, working on BECU, the MS Society, and Group Health.

2010 to 2011
Creative Director at Sasquatch Advertising in Portland. Only a year at this small Portland agency working mostly on Widmer Brothers Brewery and Burgerville, which happen to go together really well.

2004 to 2007
Group Creative Director at Publicis in Seattle. Most of my work here was on the T-Mobile account—a lot of broadcast TV and general brand work, including a rebrand. I did get breaks from T-Mobile to work on other things including a bicycle safety campaign for New York City, and I developed a Seattle-focused campaign for the UNICEF Tap Project.

2001 to 2004
Freelance Art Director at a number of agencies in San Francisco, New York and Seattle. I studied film directing at NYU in 2003.

1995 to 2001
Art Director at Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. HP, 7up, Dreyer’s Ice Cream and Isuzu Motors where some of my clients at Goodby. I also worked on Alaska Airlines and Starbucks. I’m pretty sure they followed me down from Seattle.

1994 to 1995
Graphic Designer at Livingston and Company. This agency folded in 1995, but back in the day they were a pretty good creative shop in Seattle. During my time there I worked on Alaska Airlines, Virginia Mason, Seattle Supersonics and the Museum of Flight.
